First few days of being open!
I am loving the Crislip arcade! It's such a beautiful building and a wonderful location! I like meeting new people and experiencing the art atmosphere! Today I painted in the arcade most of the day! Although when my crumbcake #2 started painting on my piece--he got a lot of attention from passers-by! And we even had some live music!

My first 8 hour day!
I received a beautiful bouquet of multicolored roses today from Jonathan Stangroom. They are gorgeous! And I left my camera at home so I'll take pictures tomorrow!
Today was my first eight hour day. It was broken up by a brief trip to the post office to priority mail some art to Picasso Gaglione at the Stamp Art museum in Chicago. If i wasn't opening an art gallery I would have been performing with all my pals... at the Contemporary Museum in Chicago this week. But, I am very happy to be where I am right now in life. I love the 600 Block. There is such a good art vibe going on! "Ramblin Rose: upcycled boutique + co-op" has also moved in to the arcade the same time as me. And soon to be coming is Olio's by Cheryl Murphy. I think we have some really good things happening in the arcade... plus there is the awesome jewelry maker--Kathryn Cole! Is the 600 Block going to be a destination for the ARTS? Momma says, "yes!"

Opening Night of the eve-N-odd gallery!
Great time had by all! I was so pleased how people really took the time to look at the art on the walls. The opening show is called, "Hairy Beasts and Unlucky Love" and featured the art of Wade Slater and Jennifer Kosharek. Several pieces sold from the show but you can still come by and see it through March 4th! Richard Canard's mail art window display was also well read from inside and outside of the gallery. The Gallery will be open daily M-Th 9-5pm and then on Friday 10-2pm. So please stop on by 645 Central Ave #11, St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Hope you enjoy the pictures from opening night and I want to thank everyone who stopped by!!
